Elliott 1350 Tourer
Concept

The Elliott 1350 Tourer fibreglass, production yacht was developed to satisfy the demand for a comfortable, pilothouse, performance offshore cruising yacht, of a size which is manageable and affordable.  Strong influences in the design were:

  • Safety
  • Comfort
  • Performance
  • Accommodation requirements
  • Smooth, easy handling by one or two people
  • High stability and performance usually associated with racing yachts

The 1350 has a well balanced hull form both upright and heeled. The keel and rudder are optimized to ensure the correct amount of lift with low drag. Customers can choose either a lift or fixed keel.

The moderate sized rig with double swept spreaders and top mast backstay has the mainsail and headsail of similar size so the E1350 remains well balanced even whilst reefed.

The well styled deck and ergonomically designed cockpit offers abundance of volume to accommodate a comfortable interior fit out. A choice of interior layout options are available.

The prototype was launched late in 2006 and has provided valuable information incorporated in successive yachts built. The stylish new Elliott 1350 Tourer certainly satisfies the requirements for an offshore, capable performance cruiser. Production is well underway.
