Concept

The E1650 is a comfortable, performance offshore cruising yacht.  Essential influences in the design were safety, comfort and the necessity for smooth easy handling, high stability and offshore performance usually associated with racing yachts.

 

Several E1650 have been launched to date the most recent of these is “Jackpot” launched May 2008 and sailed to Australia by her new owners.


Design Brief

 

  • The hull is a well balanced form both upright and heeled with optimized sections to reduce wetted surface.
  • Highly efficient keel and rudder foils optimized to ensure correct amount of lift with low drag.
  • Moderate sized fractional rig with double swept spreaders and top mast backstay providing superior balance even whilst reefed.
  • Stylish efficient deck and spacious cockpit
  • Considerable internal volume allows for spacious, comfortable living and entertaining aboard.
  • Stunning 360 ˚ view outside whilst seated inside the saloon
  • Natural indoor outdoor living with cockpit and saloon on the similar level.
  • A choice of two or three cabins and one or two heads with showers.
