Elliott 44 Cruiser Racer
Concept

The Elliott 44 CR has been designed as a competitive offshore racing yacht that can be optimized to the IRC rule but also has the handling characteristics of a safe and comfortable short handed cruiser.

The E44 CR has a medium beam, stable hull form with minimal wetted surface. Generous freeboard and topside flare provide dry and comfortable cruising.

Keel and rudder are well refined to offer the most lift for the less drag.
The rig and sail plan, using a fractional spar, provides easy handling whilst cruising but allows the E44CR to enter race mode quickly.
The interior is functional and provides space and comfort for cruising with practical efficient layout for racing.

  • Highly Competitive
  • Short handed Ability
  • Dual Purpose Interior
  • IRC Optimized

The first E44CR is currently being built by New Yachts Australia Ltd for a Melbourne client.
