Elliott 7 Fleet arrive in Sydney

The new CYCA Youth Sailing Academy fleet has arrived in Sydney.One of the milestones of the CYCA YSA 20th Anniversary celebrations is soon to become real. The ten new Elliott 7 metre yachts were unloaded in Sydney this week. The yachts are being prepared for the official CYCA launching in July.

Wellington to Nelson Win for RanTan II

The Elliott 50 canting keel offshore racer, RanTan11 claimed line honours, for the 3rd consecutive year in the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club Wellington to Nelson race. Sailing in winds. ranging from 5 to 35 knots RanTan�s previous race record of just over 11 hours was never under threat.

Veloce first Sydney to Hobart yacht under 45ft

Melbourne yachtsman Phil Simpfendorfer and crew on his Elliott 44 cruiser racer, Veloce, ghosted up the Derwent early on Sunday morning to complete his first Sydney to Hobart. After a disappointing first 24 hours they were in 46th position.

New Elliott 35ss Smashes Coastal Classic record

Crusader, the new Ellliott 35S SuperSport has smashed the Coastal Classic record for yachts under 10.66metres by finishing the race from Auckland to Russell in 10 hours and 2 minutes. The previous record of 11 hours 53 mins was set in 1996.
