Elliott 50 RanTan have won the SSANZ ANZAC 250. Racing from Auckland to Great Barrier Island in tactically challenging conditions and very light wind into the finish, the Elliott 50 crossed the line in 2nd place. Gale Force, the Elliott 1050, sailed by owners who are  seasoned short handed campaigners  was 2nd overall. Impressively, Crusader an Elliott 35Super Sport was the  3rd yacht across the finish line. The Short Handed Sailing Association of New Zealand hold a season of short handed events each year which always prove to be a testing ground and a build up for their Double Handed Round North Island event, which is  held every three years.
